crawling back...
... facecrap has me hooked again. please don't make too much fun of me, but allow me to learn that i deserve to be treated better, loved more and treated out once in a while. relationships seldom end on the first go anyways. like jerry said, ... "it's like a pop machine. they never go over in one push. you've got to rock them back and forth for a while, then they go over."... i feel as though i've used that quote before.

this is post four hundered and one
hiccoughs are cute. i always smile a bit when i hear them. the person performing the hiccoughs is usually quite embarrassed to have just performed the cute action mostly because they seldom realize that the act is cute or that someone might be paying attention enough to know that it is cute.only girls hiccough. boys do not. ever. and if they did it would not be cute.
sneezes make me chuckle too. however they can also irritate me. it irritates me when a person does not embrace their sneeze with love and understanding. understanding that a sneeze needs to have a life of its own and cannot live within the fascist rule that is so often assumed when sneezes are involved.
people never suspect that a stranger is paying attention enough to excuse their sneeze, and bless away the demons that are trying to gain access to the soul of the sneezer, or so the story goes so i am told.

short of 100 pgs
since starting to read catch 22 i've noticed that my writing has become quite a bit ... it has become bitter and i don't like that. the book is rather funny, but very dark in parts ... even though i only read 65 pages or so. rarely have i ever walked away from a book deliberately, but on this occasion, given that i have a great deal of writing to do and very little time in which to do it, i have decided it is for the best. so, until further notice, Catch-22 has been stored with my not-being-used-right-now luggage and will likely be shipped home shortly because i believe papa tucker would like to read it.ireland is going brilliant. you can read all about it over at salut maman, however i would like to add that in the next couple of days i'll be taking in a few of the shows involved in dublin's fringe fest going on until the 23rd.
i thought a few of you might find that interesting.

... the end
well, not THE end, but AN end. yesterday was my last day working construction for this summer. This to allow myself to get organized for my ireland working holiday (matty and i leave a week monday). it's exciting and scary making me nervous and anxious. i don't have a job yet, but we do have our hostels booked for the first week of our stay, after which we'll tour to cork and look for a flat either with other travelers, or just the two of us.i'll be writing on another blog for the duration of my stay, however i'll likely post the same (or similar) stories to both. if you'd like to read both (or either [or neither]) you can visit Salut Maman, a blog that my sister used while she was in France for seven months. You might remember my mentioning her before, as well you might notice a change in the name (it used to be called Letters Home), and you would be right on both counts ... we changed the domain so that my sisters and i could write about our trips ... and lettershome.blogspot.com was already taken.
feel free to visit that blog; as i write this i haven't read it myself.

beer + mac =
... depression. My Powerbook had beer spilled on the keyboard. My buddy appologized profusely, and I forgave him with similar passion. He promised to repair or replace, what ever makes most sence.
The computer won't turn on.
I have learned this:
I knew that last one already, perhaps it should read: be more specific when it comes to rules with my computers.... things don't matter, they really don't matter. It is just a thing and I can get on just fine without things.
... back up data. you never know what will happen.
... beer and computers don't mix.
[i wrote this post on sept 8, 2007. the beer was spilled nearly a month ago]

mix master tucker
as fortune would have it i have been asked to mc a wedding. as unfortune would have it is this coming weekend. luckily I am one of two, and the other guy speaking is a great speaker and will, with any fortune at all, have the program laid out entirely and all i'll have to do is follow his jokes with a rim shot.
the groom is a good buddy of mine, and i've know him since we were in
kindergarten and i am very much honored to be able to help host the reception.
his stag was this past weekend, and if i have more time next weekend i'll try to recap some of my favourite moments, but until then you'll just have to sit there and wait for me to return. in the mean time i've included a picture of the lovely couple. please enjoy!
