dear blog

i am so very much sorry for ignoring you these past couple of months. despite whether you believe me or not i am going to do my best to keep you up to date with funny stories, wierd people and other happenings.

i am working in northern southwestern ontario and living in a trailer park for the week ... and boy oh boy do i have some characters that come to call. at times i feel as though i am in some sort of fantacy novel and these people i meet are supposed to be helping me along with my quest. but you'll hear more about that later, for now i'll leave you with a story from the pubs this week...

at the village in collingwood (i am swinging a hammer in the area for the summer) on the walk from the skool (a pub) to the parking lot (where the cars are kept) me and a guy i work with, steven balls, climbed into an old pick up truck ... likely a 50's truck ... and pretended to drive it around. the kicker is that it had no engine. you can imagine the conversation with the security guard, and how successful we where at convincing her that we were in okay condition to be doing what we were doing. she approached us as i climbed out of the windshield of the truck and was tinkering with the void that, at one point, housed the engine while Ball-sie was trying all sorts of things to get it started.

after she let us go we ran through a bunch of plastic flowers that were displayed in some old painted up golf bags. after our attempts to bring a bag each home with us failed we found we were quite content to leave them in a mass of semi secured rubble.

at the current moment i am sitting in the room of the kid who's computer i have recently annexed. i don't know where he is, but i'd like to thank bid dan for helping me get through the crack security and for dan-o for putting me up for the night.

cheers,

--j
